Indigo

Two sensors connect to our INDIGO platform in this setup. A VIPERA-1017 and a colour CMOS sensor with FHD resolution. INDIGO synchronizes both sensors and upscales and matches the VIPERA signal with the CMOS without introducing latency. The FPGA powered logic system then fuses both video streams through any of 9 different fusion modes. Including hotspot and thermal-outline fusion. All interfacing goes through an easy to connect serial port and the module’s video output is 1.5G/3G HD-SDI with FHD resolution.

This INDIGO setup offers a perfect solution for a driver assistance sight. The outstanding sensitivity of the CMOS channels (down to moonlight) and highly accurate thermal imaging module offer a crisp and sharp image that allows the driver of a military vehicle to safely manoeuvre under armour and through harsh weather conditions.
