NEXT PRODUCT

Ruby 6-15 SWIR

Ruby is a compact ARGON based core with a short-wave infrared detector of 640 x 512 pixels. All image calibration and dynamic range control is performed by the core. Output is either CameraLink or USB3.

A SWIR sensor works in a spectral region where the atmosphere is almost fully transparent. And, as such, it can provide a contrast-rich image from scenery of > 10km away. Perfect for long range observation at sea. The Ruby also works in the spectral range where laser designators are active, and it can thus be used to construct a laser warning system.

Key features

  • Lynred SNAKE SW TECLESS sensor
  • Frame rate of 50 - 180 fps
  • Global Shutter as Exposure mode
